Rev. Hattie Howell

Rev Howell has been with Persimmon Grove since moving to North Carolina in 2007. She received a Master of Human Services (MHS) from Lincoln University, PA – 1993. Her theological training was through the New York Annual Conference Ministerial Institute. She was ordained Itinerant Deacon by Bishop Philip Cousins in May, 1998. Particularly noteworthy, was her position as a Medicaid Training Coordinate with Suffolk County Department of Social Services. She retired after 31 years. Rev Howell is presently a North Carolina Certified Paralegal (NCCP)

She loves playing tennis in her spare time and is affectionately known as “the activist” by many members of her church.

Rev.Natasha Miller

Rev Miller began¬†coming to PG in 2009. She was ordained itinerant elder in the First Episcopal District in 2009, under Bishop Norris. She received her M.Div. from Palmer Theological Seminary in 2008. She¬†worked as an Assistant District Attorney at Philadelphia DA’s Office and Environmental Justice Intern at Justice and Witness Ministries United Church of Christ National office in Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, she is an 8th grade social studies teacher at Welborn Middle School Guilford County Schools District. She lives her life through the scripture, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13
